What is a Hybrid Memoir and How Do I Write One?
Investigate and practice a genre-busting form in creative nonfiction that is like a literary collage, assemblage or mosaic. We read published works and spend time in class discovering our own style, voice and theme.
Maybe you have thematic pieces you're ready to string together, or maybe you enjoy a variety of styles (essay vignettes, poetic musings, etc.) and can't land on one for a whole book -- yet. Enter the hybrid memoir. This class also includes a reading list and ways to continue building on your work independently.
