Details about this class
This is an introductory course to facilities maintenance and operation with an emphasis on mechanical and HVAC/R equipment/systems. A new topic is presented each week.
This is an online course with weekly Zoom lectures and is homework intensive. There is no lab or shop time.
Grading scale is traditional A, B, C, D, F with 60% of your grade homework, 20% mid-term exam and 20% final exam.
You will fail the course if you do not turn in completed assignments on time with quality work.
You will need the listed textbook to complete the homework and the exams.
You are expected to be proficient in English reading, writing, comprension and basic math skills.
