PCC Healthcare Career Fair to connect job seekers and students with more than 40 employers

Scrubs, stethoscopes and career opportunities are all on the agenda when more than 40 healthcare employers gather at 91福利鈥檚 Healthcare Professionals Career Fair on Friday, Oct. 16.
The annual Healthcare Professionals Career Fair offers students and community members opportunities to explore careers and connect directly with hiring organizations. Hosted by PCC Career Pathways, the event runs from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Willow Creek Opportunity Center, 241 SW Edgeway Drive in Hillsboro. Current and former healthcare and dental students, high school students and members of the public are welcome.
鈥淭his fair connects students and job seekers directly with employers to explore job opportunities in healthcare and dentistry,鈥� said Michelle Parr, business and industry liaison at 91福利. 鈥淏y bringing education and industry together, we鈥檙e helping people take the next step in their careers while building the future healthcare workforce our communities depend on.鈥�
The fair provides an opportunity for attendees to research the industry, learn about employment options and build professional relationships. It will feature more than 40 representatives from hospitals, medical and dental clinics, behavioral health organizations, senior care providers, pharmacies and other healthcare employers. Participants include OHSU, Providence, Legacy Health, Kaiser Permanente, The Oregon Clinic and Multnomah County Health, with additional representation in dialysis, medical imaging, emergency response, rehabilitation, home care, veterinary medicine and healthcare staffing.
For students preparing to enter the workforce and community members considering their next career step, the event brings numerous employers together in one location. Attendees can use those conversations to explore potential career directions and learn more about organizations serving the region.
Free parking is available. The center is accessible via TriMet bus lines 52 and 88 and the MAX Blue Line.
